About
The Fairydale Association (华里园) was a social and broker club located at 63–65 South Bridge Road, Singapore, known locally as 吉宁庙街 (the Indian Temple Street, now Pagoda Street). It was composed primarily of prominent Straits-born Chinese (土生华人), many of whom held significant influence in business and civic society. This includes Chung Koon Seng (钟坤成), a well-known Chinese entrepreneur who founded the Tong Le Theatre (同乐剧院) on North Bridge Road.
