FAMED EXPONENT OF ‘KABUKI’ TO DANCE HERE – A famed Japanese classical dancer, Miss Hidemi Hanayagi, is now in Singapore to dance the ‘Kabuki’… Miss Hidemi, who is a dancer with the noted Hanayagi Dancing Troupe in Tokyo, arrived here from Saigon for a three-day performance. Miss Hidemi had a string of 15 engagements in South Vietnam before coming here. [Straits Times, 11 Dec. 1960, p.4]
