Singapore bandleader. Committee member of the Singapore Filipino Association 1937–1940.

A member of Cowan & Bailey’s Coconut Grove Syncopators in 1937 and directed the Filipino Swing Band 1937–1940. Later led his own bands during the 1940s.

Directed the Filipino Swing Band 1937–1940 (see entry for that group).

Led a band playing popular selections at Minamiza (former Alexandra Hall) at the Syonan Combined Orchestra Concert – Popular selections by band leaders Conny Gregorio, Wilson Koon, Wah Jin and Titus. [Syonan Shimbun, April 10, 1944, 2] “BAND CONCERTS WILL POPULARISE MUSIC – The first concert held by the Syonan Musical bands on April 10 at the Minamiza Gekijo in North Bridge Road, Syonan, under the instruction of the Senden-bu proved a great success.” [Syonan Shimbun, April 13, 1944, 2]

CONNY & HIS SUPER SWING BOYS appeared at “Evening Paradise” (New World Park) [Malaya Tribune, November 10, 1945, 4/1]. During 1946–1949 he led the band at Prince’s Cabaret (billed as CONNY & HIS QUARTET Jan.–May and as CONNY GREGORIO’S SWING SEXTET from June onwards).

GREGORIO & HIS PRINCE’S SEXTETTE played at the Singapore Musicians’ Union Ball (Raffles Hotel) [The Singapore Free Press, August 12, 1949, 5].

Made broadcasts over Radio Malaya between April and September 1947. “Dance music relayed from The Prince’s Restaurant by Conny Gregorio & His Band” [The Straits Times, July 15, 1947, 10] as an example of many similar broadcasts during 1947.
