NEW WORLD – The following vaudeville programme is billed for tomorrow after the dinner dance: Miss Molly and The Flashes in the “Hot Jazz” and Miss Anita and Henry in “Hot Cha Cha”. [Straits Times, 8 Mar. 1935, p.7]
THE NEW WORLD – Both the tea and night dances were well attended last Saturday and the vaudeville numbers were much appreciated. The “Hot Cha Cha“ item by Miss Anita and Henry; the Vaudeville Director received much applause, while the “Hot Jazz” by Misses Molly, Helen, Julie, Carolina, Ada and Mary was a decided success. The number will be reported at the coming Saturday night dance. The vaudeville numbers for the coming Tea and After Dinner dances on Saturday will be: The Samoan Dance by special request. NEW WORLD – An attractive programme has been arranged for the New World tea and night dances featuring Miss Molly in “Czardas” at the night dance. NEW WORLD – The Cabaret was filled to capacity on Friday and Saturday without overcrowding. The floor specialities of versatile Miss Molly in “Czardas” and popular Miss Anita and Henry in the “Apache Burlesque” were well applauded… On the coming Saturday Miss Molly by special request will render the “Hula Hula.” Miss Anita and Henry will appear, also by special request, in the Argentine tango at the night dance.
