NEW WORLD – The tea and night dances at the New World Cabaret were well attended on Saturday. The Samoan dances by the Flashes was a special request rendered at both the dances. Miss Molly and the Flashes rendered the hot jazz at the night dance which was greatly appreciated. [Straits Times, 20 Mar. 1935, p. 12]

THE NEW WORLD – Last Saturday was a gala night at the New World Cabaret. By special request the Samoan Dance was performed by Misses Anita, Molly, Helen, Carolina, Ada and Mary at both the Tea and Night Dance.
