About
Jimmy Ho was the lead guitarist from The Avengers from Kuching, Sarawak. This group came to Singapore to record with Rose Iwanaga (Philips 1967). In the late 1960s Jimmy Ho moved to K.L. and was still active there in 2009.
A group called Jimmy Ho & The Four Fingers accompanied Lim Tek Chuan and others on some Hokkien comedy records for NVRC and also Rose Cheong on her EP for NVRC. In 1969 Liang Yeh Ling was accompanied by The Four Fingers in recordings on the Premier label. There may be some connection with Iban & The Five Fingers who recorded for Philips in 1968.
