Malay opera singer from Java. Member of the Union Dalia Opera 1926-1929 and (apparently) The Garden Opera in 1930.
Visited Singapore with a group of Java artistes in 1930, which is variously listed in advertisements as Miss Alang’s Troupe and The Garden Opera. Since The Garden Opera is described as a “newly organised Malay Theatre” [Malaya Tribune, 27 June 1930, p.7], it is not certain if this group is the same as Miss Alang’s Troupe or a different entity.
